The Patient and Family Support Program provide comprehensive psycho-social and mental health services for patients, their parents and siblings. Children's National Health System has Centers of Excellence focused on Sickle Cell, HIV/AIDS, Diabetes, and Kidney Disease. Project CHAMP (Children's HIV and AIDS Model Program) is one of the area's largest providers of support and services for children living with HIV infection and AIDS.
