FACES - New Orleans
New Orleans, Louisiana
FACES became a program of the NO/AIDS Task Force through a competitive grant award from the HIV/AIDS Bureau of the Health Resources and Services Administration. Prior to this award FACES existed as a program of Children?s Hospital in New Orleans with a lengthy record of collaboration with HIV/AIDS service providers throughout Louisiana. Through Ryan White and other funding sources FACES supports a family-centered model of care that provides services to all eligible adults (male or female) with a particular emphasis on HIV-positive pregnant women, youth, children, HIV-exposed infants, and affected family members. During the past twenty-five years, FACES has grown from a case management and HIV education demonstration project, to a multi-service, comprehensive service provider.
