Frannie Peabody Center is the largest community-based HIV/AIDS services organization in Maine, providing prevention services for at-risk groups, direct services for people living with HIV/AIDS, and support services and programs for those infected and afflicted by the disease. Frannie Peabody Center is committed to preventing the spread of HIV infection in Southern Maine, while providing compassionate care for those infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS. The center promotes awareness and risk-reduction through programs that provide prevention education, outreach, and anonymous HIV testing services. Also provided are programs that address the impact of the disease on the individual. These include case management, support services, and housing assistance programs.
